The intensive groups focus on the realm that we call 'soul work'. Still rooted in the practice of movement, these workshops go deeper, working creatively with individual process, the life of the group and realms beyond the personal that connect us to spirit - however you conceive this. We use ritual theatre and other creative media such as ceremony, mask work, working in nature, sound and voice, video feedback, visual arts and others.
Ritual theatre involves creating a special or 'sacred' space - an environment outside our everyday focus. This provides a safe framework to unfold individual stories, explore relationship, work with group themes, and venture into the unknown. The transformation of a personal theme, impulse or story into ritual theatre creates a kind of alchemy, which taps into a deeper experience of our humanity and collective potential. This process enables us to become more present, it has a therapeutic dimension and can be profoundly healing. These workshops take place over a weekend or longer period and are usually offered with a residential option.

'The Soulwave New Year retreat for me was incredible on many different levels. The location and facilitators were fantastic.
